Insult to Injury?

Who thinks after watchng USF's mediocrity in action that they will even finish the season at .500? I don't which will make this that much more embarrassing. Also a couple of other comments:

- After Theo's perfomance I wouln't mind seeing Toma on the field more often and also returning punts.
- After another Jonas fumble can we consider Teo in the backfield for short yardage?
- Where was the wildcat yesterday or any new wrinkle especially when we went flat in the second quarter.
- Very sad to see that Dayne's career at ND will be spent watching. Maybe he can be the ND equivalent to MAtt Cassell and have a nice pro career in a pro style offense.

- D looks like they have more good players han they know what to do with.

Did you watch the game? This game had nothing to do with USF. They were pedestrians who found a winning lottery ticket that someone lost out their car window. USF is mediocre and could win a mediocre Big East. True. We are in a different league than the Big East at this point (cue someone bringing up the record against the Big East while Charlie was coach) and it showed in the fact that we couldn't have looked worse and no more awful twists of fate could have brought us down and yet we lost by ONLY 3 TO THE BEST BIG EAST TEAM! We will finish with at least 9 wins.

When this team puts on another show like this without the 5 turnovers and missed field goal, it will be domination. And the team that is in our crosshairs at that point will wonder why our awful fate has turned on them.

Damn that Mark May and his voodoo. I think we will play the same game against UM abd beat them like a drum. That overrated punk Desmond Howard will pick UM and that should cancel out Mark May. Also Lou wil be back on board at ND.

I am pretty sure that is what the OP meant. That USF is mediocre and it will suck when the season ends and we lost to a 7-5 team. I agree with him. I was at the game and was less than impressed. Even sat near some USF fans that thought they would look better.
