Impact Transfers

Nicholas and Incarnato weren't going to see the field at ND. Vaughn was a loss, he would've been a great replacement for Stovall. Of all the guys that transferred, Weis only seemed sad to lose Hiben and Vaughn.

Incarnato should see immediate playing time at Indiana, because its Indiana and they stink. I have no idea about Nicholas. Vaughn will have a ton of catches at louisville with that passing offense.

I think the one guy there we'll miss is Vaughn. He seemed like a guy with a ton of potential. My guess is, he'd be the number three receiver if he had stuck it out at ND. But who knows.

My lasting impression of Colorado was watching them get their asses thumped by Texas.

Me, Scooper, Svoboda and Domer95 could probably get into Indiana's two deep.

These guys all did the right thing by going to DI-A teams where they could play right away. Indiana should be THRILLED to have a guy like Incarnato and Nicholas' should at least bring some character to a CU team that is a total mess right now. Danny Hawkins is going to need some time to sort that out.

Vaughn will see the ball his way at Louisville.

All three will get minutes at their new schools. Not a thing wrong with that.

Wait, maybe I remember it wrong. But did Vaughn transfer, or did Weis kick him off the team?

I thought Weis had suspended Vaughn or thrown him off the team for violating team rules or something. So I don't think Vaughn had the option of sticking out at ND.

I've thought about trying it. But I enjoy having Saturdays free to watch the Irish. And I don't look good in red.

The school suspended Vaughn for stealing credit cards or something like that. Weis had no say in the matter...Vaughn would have to sit out the year and their was no assurance ND would accept him back so he decided to transfer. He left on good terms and had good things to say about the football program.....

He picked a good program in louisville, he'll have no problems seeing the ball there. I think you'll hear alot about him in the future, real pro potential with his size and speed.

I know that Nicholas and Incarnato wouldn't see much PT, but if they stayed maybe Weis would at least be able to field two full teams for the Blue and Gold game.

I guess the point I was trying to make is that these two leaving really hurt our depth at the thinnest positions, and the fact that they are potential starters means that they could potentially have contributed at ND - especially Nicholas at DT. D-line has perhaps the most rotation and DT is the thinnest position on the team.

Yea, when I read this article, my thought was...who the hell are these guys? USC had a good deal of transfers too, but when you're that deep, some guys just won't play and they transfer. Hopefully, this will be a problem for us in the future. Being too deep at a particular postition. The QB position could have that problem soon. Especially if we get Clausen!

At Indiana? Never happen.

All the money is in the men's basketball and soccer programs.
