You are blaming the wrong people....we have some terrific players and more on the way. The problem is coaching. Just being a nice guy, a humanitarian, and a jolly fat man are not qualifications for coaching....at least, not college football. I'm sorry I feel this way and aplogize to the many fans of Charlie for supporting him.

I used to believe in CW...now I have serious doubts. My biggest doubt is the lack of progress that this team has shown in ALL phases of the game. Also I have YET to see a good defensive performance turned in by the defense in the CW era.

CB's defense is getting better. It really didn't show much today, but it has been, and when CB gets all these young guys in I think ND will have a very very good defense by mid to late next year. Not that they won't or can't be good before then, but that's when I think they'll really take off and get rolling.

His play calling was absolutely terrible. Decisions to go for it and the kind of play he got out of the whole team despite having two weeks to get them prepared shows he cannot get results where he is responsible for building this team up. Perhaps we can convince him to demote himself to offensive coordinator and bring in someone else to have the responsibility of building up the program.

Alright, instead of keys to victory, I thought I would take another approach to this game. What is the one thing that would embarass you during the Navy game. 'Losing' is not a valid answer in this exercise.

For me, it's a deep passing play for a score or deep field position. I just gots this queasy feeling that we will be so intent on defending the wishbone, that Hyphen-hyphen-hyphen-Enhada is going to have one of those 'Who forgot to cover that guy' moments and hit Campbell or some other receiver wide open for 6. Like no-one-around-him-for-25-yards- open. And it will be at a critical time in the game.
