I think both sides of the issue make good points. A question I have, though, is how a four team playoff would do anything to invalidate, or decrease the value, of the regular season. A team like USC or Virginia Tech would not necessarily get in. With so many questions about who should play in the NC game, though, I think it may increase the chance of "getting it right." One of the problems, though, is that that probably would not solve the "non-BCS" team problem.
