So by saying if Weis is fired, ND will be in Willinghamland again for the next 5 years. Are you saying Charlies recruits are that bad?

I'll assume you meant "moot point" in your reply title.

Anyway, the offense needs to get going quickly. That means GETTING THE BALL TO GOLDEN TATE. The thing about our offense (with exception of Nevada and Washington State) is that our offense is only decent early on. Then we get Golden Tate the ball and the offense explodes. There's a pattern there.

That is most likely true, but good coaching should get more production out of lesser recruits than we are seeing out of our good/great recruiting.
