Just got off of work, going to sip on a drink tonight. Not sure how much I can drink tomorrow considering I have to work at 2:30.

Current drink: Brisk Strawberry Melon and Rum

Nice. I am a whisky (single malt scotch, bourbon, Irish, Japanese, etc), Red wine or Craft beer (usually IPAs, DIPAs, Porters, Stouts, Red Ales and Sour Ales) kind of guy. I also like sipping tequila and aged Rum. During the summer I do drink some Gin though (Gin + tonics and Gin martinis).

I was wrong earlier one more beer before switching to whisky. Stone Brewing 16th Anniversary Ale (a double IPA brewed with lemon verbena). Stone 16th Anniversary IPA - Stone Brewing Co. - Escondido, CA - BeerAdvocate

Speaking of Martini's, while staying at a hotel in Dallas, I went to their bar where the bartender self proclaimed himself as the "Martini Master".

He said he could make any kind of martini and has even invented some himself. Not quite believing him my (soon to be) wife and I decided to test him. He made a blow pop, cotton candy, tootsie roll, sour apple, and plenty more that escape my memory. Every single one tasted exactly like it's name.

When drinking alcohol that taste nothing like alcohol, it can lead to a very fun night.

I know one player does not make the team, but a transcendant entity like Manti deserves/needs a 10+ win season to cement his mainstream legacy at ND. Let's see the boys shut Mark May up early and make a magical run to the BCS. That's what I'm looking forward to.

Got my alarm set for 5:45...quite possibly the first time in my life that I'm excited about that. Dodgers not helping me get to bed as they are heading into the top of the 11th.

Looking forward to seeing the All-Americans Te'o and Eifert, Stephon Tuitt making us all say Aaron who?, Davonte Neal returning punts and taking short passes and turning them into big plays and Theo & GA3 with some big runs...but most of all I am looking forward to seeing Golson, and not Tommy Rees, behind center!!!

Go Irish!!!

To me it depends on if it's delivery/box and what kind of pizza it is
My contention is that all pizza is better warmed. In my many drunken escapades, I have yet to taste a pizza that tastes as good warmed or as what some consider to be le grande haute cuisine dished straight from the refrigerator.

Pizza King (an Indiana only chain) is DELICIOUS cold. It's arguably better cold than hot, but either way, it's incredible.

Thats what paper bags are for my friend...

Kate is one of those girls you can pound the skunkbear out of her for sure.

So you are willing to paper bag the mustache and mole, but not the wonky eyes?

It's times like these that I am so incredibly jealous of you people living in South Bend...Rocco's is by FAR the absolute best pizza anywhere!

So I am a little late to the party. The traffic on the southbound 405 did not cooperate this evening. But here I am with bourbon in hand and ready to at least celebrate the thread with NDinL.A. in spirit.

Once again I find myself on the eve of another Notre Dame season and I am wracked with anticipation. Might not get much sleep tonight, but I get so excited every, single year. It never gets old.

I don't have much insight that hasn't already been mentioned, but I am really looking forward to what Manti will do this season. Eifert is going to have a huge year. It will be exciting to see which young buck steps up and has an impact. We need more than one to do so.

Will tomorrow (errr....today) be the start of the Golson era? I hope so.

Thanks NDinL.A.! I feel very fortunate that you and I have become good friends and I am honored you are opening your house to me later this season. Can't wait! We are going to have a blast!!!

Cheers to all the other I.E. brethren! Let's go get 'em tomorrow boys! Let's GO IRISH!!!

As my name implies, I live in Guam, so the game starts at 11PM saturday. So it's almost like prime time. Also glad you guys could experience what I experience since ND games usually start at 5AM Sunday on my side of the world.

Super sick (cough, sore throat, runny nose) right now and the only thing keeping me is ND!

Also, looking forward to seeing Manti. I still remember that morning when Manti put on that ND cap on national signing day! Time flies!!!

Sh!t I love cold pizza! What's wrong with you veer????

LOL, I can't even remember the last time I had cold pizza. I think I friggin' heat it up now. What the hell is wrong with ME? 2 things I guess I gave up when I got married 3 years ago and bought a house - gambling and cold pizza. I love my wife, but ugh...I miss gambling!

We have the top TE in the country, and I think that's the first mention of him in this thread. Wow. Let me say that I too look forward to seeing him and not taking him for granted. Beast mode all year hopefully...
