What is the scoop on IU basketball?

I have been to afraid to keep up on it.

haha Poor. Teams like Northwestern are supposed to beat us. Projected last in the big10. Crean has a good recruiting class for next year. This year is made up of one returning player, Taber, who averaged like 2 points a game last year. The rest are lower level recruits, JUCO transfers, or Walk-ons. Might be a long year. I'd be ecstatic with a double digit win total. However, Tom Crean is doing things the right way and will IU basketball will be back with time... lots and lots of time.

So, pretty much the ND football season will seem stellar compared to what is coming up for IU?

I do like Crean. We are family friends with Dominic James and family and they rave about Crean.

However, until IU makes things right with Bobby Knight, I won't get too invested.

yeah, I think if IU hits the .500 mark at the end of the season Tom Crean should win Coach of the year.

I have never heard anything bad about Crean. Never had infractions, did wonders up at Marquette. I am excited to see where the program goes when it is in his hands. With Bobby Knight... definitely need to rename it all: Bobby Knight Court at Assembly Hall... at least.

I think the court is already named. They need to name that new practice facility they keep sending me donation letters about after him. Or rename the library, since he practically stocked the whole thing.

I love IU basketball as much as ND football. That's a lot of fan strength needed

No no no.its already called McCracken court. I didn't see you say "rename".

ohhhh I always thought it was just "Assembly Hall," didn't know it was McCracken Court. I agree with naming the practice facility or renaming the Library though.

HAHAHA I haven't heard much from him since he left IU, i know he is head of the NCAA or something. Must be laying low since Bobby is retired and quite the hunter.. ha. You could change it to IHateTedValentine... Bobby's favorite ref.
