He is a good player (usually) but tonight proves he does NOT deserve credit for what the team has done. That was pathetic. Imagine the backlash if Quinn was 4-14 for 36 yds and 2 TOs. Pathetic.

I checked BQ's entire history as a QB. He has two games this bad... UM and Pitt back in 2003, his 1st and 4th starts. He was a baby then. Smith is a man...

He got his ass kicked badly.

I wanted OSU to win, because the SEC smugness irritates me. But as the game went on, I remembered all the Heisman voters who unjustly licked Troy Smith's nutsack all season... They can eat shit.

still no comparison.that was that highly touted west coast offense that everyone talked about back then.

if you think Troy Smith is going anywhere on the second day you are crazy, he did nothing tonite to hurt himself, the fact that he only threw that ball 14 times....yeah thats right 14 times....Ohio State only got about 40 plays the entire game, and even when he did drop back he never had a chance....plain and simple, but you Irish fans are so accustomed to seeing guys throw 15-35 148 and two INT's.....

Ummm...his happy feet did not exactly buy him positive attention. Not having open receivers is one thing...absolutely shooting yourself in the foot is another.

why the hell would a ohio state fan be on a notre dame board today.I know you came here just because you knew people would be talikng about troy smith and you had to defend him.
I never said anything about his draft status.

that's the whole thing that makes that florida win so enjoyable.All year long I never really heard too much out of florida fans,but you tOSU guys,not everyone,but a lot of you tOSU guys and ladies were just going around and badmouthing everyone and now it's just "what comes around goes around"

I think that is absolutely the worst team I have ever seen in a national champioship game.I'm sorry dude,but that was nothing but a pure ass kicking.

No credit to Florida....in all honesty, Florida won than game more so than Ohio State lost it

That Defense was exactly what we saw with LSU (LSU had a better rated D). However, the ND scheme is better against that type of thing than tOSU's scheme. Unfortunately, it did not work out for us...but then we don't have the well of talent that tOSU does.

Our QB is better than yours could ever hope to be.

ND would have faired better vs Florida and OSU would have faired better against LSU.

Both of us had bad matchups.

I went through the exact same progression. Once UF started to pull away I was just hoping for a bigger and bigger blowout.

no way,i picked florida from the get go and it actualy made my pick'ems a little more respectable this year too.I don't have anything against ohio state,but questioned their schedule this year and florida was hungry.
