It is true, he did say he thought Michigan was a cake walk. We know thats not true, but he did agree he thought Georgia Tech was gonna be scary. The point is, it was a great article, written with pure unbridled Fighting Irish emotion. I mean that guy is the greatest sports writer ive seen this year. He may not know much about other teams strengths, but he sure loves the Irish.

This article first appeared in The Sporting News, and the comments on the article weren't friendly towards the writer or the Irish. Many people think that this article was written with sarcasm, but occasionally writers will throw out Notre Dame's name just to attract readers.

I have to agree here...Tom Dienhart is a professional douchebag.

He went to Purdue and absolutely abhors Notre Dame. I read this article again and I sense quite a bit of sarcasm here.
