He is terrible so lost. Anyone see on the bc throwing td, it lokked like McCarthy told him to to something and he waved him off and then he just stood there. He is god awful

Looked to me like it was going to be zone coverage and the DB got caved in by the out side wideout? Didn't help they were talking when the ball was snapped but...I thought he did look better at the spot he was in today against the run.

I'm finding it hard to say ANYTHING nice or positive, about the pass defense, today. But......... he's had a grand total of 20 hours (this week) to transition back to LB. I'm not happy with him, but I won't call for benching him, just yet, either.

I hate threads like this, Its unnecessary to bash a kid. I will say i was very dissapointed in his play. Maybe a lil bench could do him some good right now. The entire secondary played horribly

Maybe some of you should become Div ! coaches and that way you could teach him the right way to play the game.

I feel he played great in is LB position, especially supporting the run. He just can't cover a bed with a sheet. And he was lost on the TD, but he does bring something to the table at his LB position. He gave 110%..especially rushing the passer. Did you see him hurdle the blcoker and pressure the QB? Give the kid a break.

Yeah, I'm with you. He played soooooo much better at LB today than safety. Yes, he screwed up royally on the TD, but he was nails against the run, and he's quite possiblt our best blitzing LB (yes, better than the great Manti - quickly becoming my fav player!). Call me crazy, and maybe I didn't watch the game carefully enough behind my hands (LOL), but I thought he was nails in the running game, and makes us more athletic...
