I don't know how many are interested in threads like this but i thought it could be a fun discussion. Plus i find it better then telling Mark May to suck one 239 times. These were just some categoties I thought of. Obviously feel free to add on any or what not.

Mine are

Offensive MVP- Armando Allen
Defensive MVP- Manti.

Offensive Most Improved- Allen. Looks a lot stronger and more explosive
Defensive Most Improved- DB's

Offensive Most Disappointing- Floyd. I don't know if its the new system and new QB, but thus far hasn't looked himself

Defensive Most Disappointing- OLB's. The MLB's have been solid, but so far nobody has stood out.

Offense Surprise Player- Braxton Cave. Sort of out the box. But I think he's done a nice job being a first time starter. This position had me worried in the offseason a bit

Defensive Surprise Player- Carlo. Man has he been good so far. Really never saw this one coming

Offensive MVP: Armando Allen- always comes up big when called upon
Defensive MVP: Ian Williams- Stats don't show how valuable he has been to the team this year

Offensive Most Improved: No one yet
Defensive Most Improved: Harrison Smith- gets alot of crap from fans but he has gotten better each week

Offensive Most Disappointing: Chris Stewart- He is not suited for the spread but he should still be dominating
Defensive Most Disappointing: Darius Fleming- I expected big things but has yet to put a game together

Offense Surprise Player: Zach Martin- Showed why he won the job
Defensive Surprise Player: Carlo Calabrese- Did not think he would be this good this early

O MVP - Crist...Do we need to revisit what happens when he's not in the lineup?

D MVP - Mr. Te'o...You're a freaking beast.

O Most Improved - Theo

D Most Improved - Darrin Walls

O Most Disappointing - I'd say Rudy, but he's licking his wounds as of late....I'd say Cierre.

D Most Disappointing - B. Smith is the easy choice but since I think he was overrated from he beginning...I'd say Steve Filer.

O Surprise Player - TJ...

D Surprise Player - Carlo...Another beast in the making.

Special Teams MVP - David Ruffer has been awesome. This is a run-away.

I agree with all these except that I'd swap Stewart for Floyd. It boggles my mind that Stewart(like P.Allen and S.Young before him)is a below average run blocker with that kind of size.

How can Theo be most improvied if he has nothing tp improve from? It's his 1st year at WR

Also Allen ran hard last year,

Somewhat alternative idea for Offensive MVP. How about Ruffer? Games would be a lot closer with out his perfectness.

Offensive MVP - AA tough kid and much improved. What would he have done with 4 full years of good offensive line coaching and strength and conditioning coaching?

Defensive MVP - Gotta go with Ian Williams on this. He is a beast.

Offensive Most Improved - AA. He might not be racking up 100+ yard games, but he is running harder and better than he has so far in his career.

Defensive Most Improved - the D line as a whole in terms of stopping the run.

Offensive Most Disappointing - Floyd and Rudolph are a tie. I know Rudy is hurt, but they have both been underwhelming so far.

Defensive Most Disappointing - Pass rush.

Offense Surprise Player - Braxston Cave.

Defensive Surprise Player - I guess Carlo, but I am not that surprised.
