Tom Luginbill: How's it going everybody.

Tom Luginbill: I'll be answering your questions in a little bit, but first we'll be welcoming in Greg Little and Jonathan Smith from Hillside High in Durham, N.C.

Greg Little: It's a pleasure to be on here.

Greg Little: Yeah, I'm pretty much open to everyone right now, everyone has a good shot.

<HR width="80%" noShade SIZE=1>Grady (Kings Mountain, NC): Jonathan, are you excited about Mike Paulus' commitment to UNC? Have you spoken to him?

Greg Little: I haven't gotten a chance to speak him, but I heard about his commitment. I'm excited to have a big, impact player on offense.

Tom Luginbill: Have you been to the UNC campus?

Greg Little: I've been there numerous times.

<HR width="80%" noShade SIZE=1>Brandon (Philly, PA): Question for Greg. With Clausen on board, a very talented '06 class, and a great chance to play early, do you put ND as one of your favorites? It would be scary to see Clausen, Little, Benn, Aldridge, and either of those tight ends on the feild at the same time. Go Irish!

Greg Little: Yeah like I said before, everyone has a good chance.

Tom Luginbill: As far as your senior season goes, how do you like your like your team chances this year?

Greg Little: I think we have a real good chance of being one of the best teams this year, making states and taking the championship trophy and getting it done.

<HR width="80%" noShade SIZE=1>Nathaniel (State College, Pa): Greg, are you coming to the camp at PSU this weekend? What coach is recruiting you for PSU, and what is PSU's chances with you?

Greg Little: I won't be at the one this weekend, and like I said before, everyone right now has a good chance. I'm not sure of the coach's name at this point.

<HR width="80%" noShade SIZE=1>Ed (Baltimore): Gregg, what are your main factors when looking at a school?

Greg Little: Reliable coaches, down to earth coaches, 2nd would be playing time and third would be academics.

Greg Little: I'm planning to narrow it down by August, and after the summer I should have taken my unofficial visits and then I'll take my official ones in the fall.

Tom Luginbill: Jonathan what attracted you about Carolina?

Jonathan Smith: I took a trip down to the spring game with Greg, and I got to meet their coaches and players. I really like their staff and it's a good fit for me.

<HR width="80%" noShade SIZE=1>Tim (Charlotte, NC): Greg, is there a current pro or college player to whom you would most compare your playing style? Go Heels!

Greg Little: I would say in pro, Terrell Owens. In college, Reggie Bush. Bush is so explosive and elusive.

Tom Luginbill: Would you prefer to play running back or receiver in college?

Greg Little: I hope I can play both if everything works out accordingly.

Greg Little: Ryan and I have talked on AOL Instant Messenger all the time and we text throughout the day.

Greg Little: I get close to 250 text messages per day.

Tom Luginbill: Do you have a special calling plan for that.

Greg Little: Unlimited text messages.

<HR width="80%" noShade SIZE=1>Joe Barile (New York, NY): Greg, how much of a factor will Jonathan and the committment of Mike Paulus be in your recruitment to the Tar Heels? Thanks.

Greg Little: I love John and we get along well, I think it will influence it a lot.

Jonathan Smith: Greg has a lot of offers so he has a lot to look at, but at the same time it would be nice to have a teammate play along with me at the college level.

Tom Luginbill: Since you committed early, have there been any schools that are still trying to recruit you despite your commitment?

Jonathan Smith: Yes, Wake Forest and Clemson are still recruiting me very hard.

Tom Luginbill: Alright, thanks very much to those guys. I'll take your questions shortly.

I would say in pro, Terrell Owens. In college, Reggie Bush. Bush is so explosive and elusive.

Let me see....ND...1) Check, 2) Check and 3) Check.....I'd think that #1 would eliminate scUM and Spoiled Children, that is if Poodle is off his meds..

This class needs multiple WR's. We lose a few after this year.

Svo, Little is pretty good. He is very impressive and left no doubt at the Jersey combine.

I think the third guy, whoever it is, won't be Little or Thompson. I think it is someone they haven't offered yet.

We know Shark and Rhema will be gone, then add 1 one for overall lack of depth everywhere.

I don't consider Little or Thompson because I think they are impossible gets. I think both stay in their respective regions, with Little at UNC and Thompson at Florida, Miami or FSU depending on who can get him the biggest cash grab.

I think he's leaning more towards Carolina right now. We do lose McKnight and Shark after this year. We need 1-2 big play WRs.

Kumara, Benn, and Clemons. Ive liked Clemons since the beginning. These three plus the recruits from last year.

If Anastacio doesn't take/get a fifth year, he would be gone as well. This offense requires a stable of WR's. Getting 3 this year may not be a bad move.

I would not be disappointed with Clemons or Drew Davis.

with Parris, Gallup, Jackson and West in the mix they'll be okay. Hord and Grimes as well.
