Coach Kelly, Father Jenkins, Mr. Swarbrick,

As I know that you regularly read Irish Envy for the pulse of Irish Nation, might I implore you to consider creating a "Kelly Green Out" for the upcoming tilt with our bitter rivals to the north, the Michigan Wolverines. A sea of kelly green (beyond the student section) would truly add to the electric atmosphere.

I will have "The Shirt" on, but lets get someone on board with providing t-shirts for the fans that are not wearing green next week to add to the aura of taking the field in our amazing stadium. We made great strides in bringing back that home-field advantage to Notre Dame Stadium yesterday, and we know Coach Kelly can appreciate creating tradition. I am in.

I'm dead serious. This should happen. Tell anyone you know going to the game to wear their kelly green. The University would have to sanction this so we can get Granny and Gramps to throw something over their sweaters.

We had those booger green "9-3" isn't good enough towels back in 2006, we could SO make this shirt thing happen.

an idea for a shirt would have the name KELLY in white letters across the front and the shirt green.

so its a play on words for Coach Kelly and Kelly Green, as it was alluded to in his press conference

yeah. theyd beable to do it for free. have the "linebacker/corbys/CF hall of fame...whoever " pay to have there names on it somewhere. free advertising. It would be minimal, if anything for the school to do that. Call NBC/ESPN and have them air it all week that this weekend is going to be a green out. Just have the sportscaster say "ND is expecting a green out for the Michigan game" and that will get tons of people ready.

The school just has to play a part in getting it done.
