Am I allowed two have two favorite games, and players? :)

1) Tennessee @ Notre Dame, 2005

Odd game, as ND went up 21-0, then Tennessee tied it at 21, then we pulled away 42-21. I was there, and it was rainy, but I did not care. It was a very entertaining game featuring some of the most infamous highlights of this era with ridiculous catches by both Samardzija and Stovall. Quinn played unbelievable, as if I needed to note that. Zbikowski had two scores, a punt return and an INT return, on top of that hed had an additional INT and a slew of tackles. This game shows my first favorite player of my generation, TOMMY Z! He was incredible in this game, and I loved watching him play.

2) UCLA @ Notre Dame, 2006

I was in attendance, and it was kind of shitty performance overall from Quinn and the offense. Zbikowski looked good, along with Landri and Crum on D. Anyway, even though UCLA wasn't great it was a very exciting win. With the game knotted up at 21, Brady quinn connected on a pass with Samardzija, and The Shark ran in it for the game winning score with less than 1 minute left. The place was going nuts, I was giving ranadom people high-fives and hugs. The echoes were awake and that place felt magical. You can not replace the feeling you get when you see a finish like that in person. To top it off, as UCLA QB scrambled for a shot at a Hail Mary with time expiring, Landri sacks his ass with a huge hit. It was awesome! This game points out my other favorite Notre Dame player of my generation, Zibby's roommate, "The Shark." Samardzija was really something for us, and I wish I could still watch him play football...

I would go with the '06 Nd vs. Mich. St. game. I was up out of my seat that whole game. I got a lot of bragging rights at my church that year. I would have to say my greatest ND player in my time would be Jarious Jackson. I like this guy because he was just so fun to watch at home.
