Came across this story on foxsports.com. Notre Dame is not listed as a favorite of any on the list. No Allen...that was kind of surprising.

While Greg Little at RB would be an interesting project..I still would prefer to bring in Hughes from Hubbard highschool in Chicago. Gotta love the powerful backs.

Many of the players on this list have grade issues and would not qualify or be "conditional" academically. I understand that Devine could not meet the minimum standards for college, and that includes FSU and UM (It was reported that UM is attempting to upgrade its standards and avoid having so many players leave early, drop out, flunk out or make headlines (other than the sports pages).

Devine can't get into FSU!!!!??? That's crazy! I thought they took anyone. Remember the movie, "The Program". That was about Florida St.! Kid must have real issues, so he'd never work for ND, but dam that Marc Tyler. Really depressing. Hopefully we get Hughes!

Well we will definately get a real hybrid speedster in Golden Tate (4.4 40). He's one of those in between players that can play some RB/WR, and he's also leaning towards ND and would probably commit if we offered. Robert Hughes is definately looking at us very hard, it would be great to get a small versatile back in Tate, and a big bruising back in Hughes on board as well. Not to mention the chance of getting Armando Allen of Florida (#10 RB,4.35 40). If we can just get Allen on campous, we would have a pretty good chance at him. (>50%)
