Does anyone know what's holding back Golden Tate's offer? Tate projects to be a RB/WR/CB prospect, and he is also a return specialist. The kid has a number of offers already, but has all but said he'd sign with ND when and if offered. Not to mention he has said all the right things about ND. Anyone know if there is something specific holding him back?

It's May. It's the "evaluation period" There is time. You'll see a number of offers going out in the coming months. Hopefully, he's one of them.

Well, this Tennessean article states that Golden already has his Irish offer. I think I am going to try to get in touch with him to clarify everything for everybody's sake.

that would be nice, I think that he has a conditional offer on grades, but scout has him listed as a 3.0 GPA so I think he must still have to take a SAT or something.

It seems a good number of guys took tests late this year and that delayed some offers.

He just sounds made for ND, if he is willing to wait I am sure ND will eventually offer?
