Golden Tate is less than 800 yards away from the Notre Dame all-time receiving yardage record.
The current record holder is Jeff Samardzija, who finished his stellar career with 2,540 yards. Golden Tate currently has 1,813 yards, with 8 games left this season (counting a bowl game) in which to pull it off.
I also understand Tate is pretty high up on the receiving touchdowns list, as well.
Whatever records Golden sets will likely be broken by Michael Floyd.
