Charlie, hopefully soon to be of blessed memory, has announced that his 6-6 team would accept a bowl bid after exams. Is it just me, or are others nauseated by the thought? I know there's money involved, but what about pride? Have we no shame? We need to begin, without further delay, to alter our scheduling, relinquish the idea of a return to glory days (tain't gonna happen), and just concentrate on student/athlete kind of football against lesser opponents where we're no longer humiliated and embarrassed on a national stage!

ND will be at the Bellaire Lanes in downtown Daytona bowling on the 1st of January. That is about all they deserve right now.

We all need certificates. Helps our self esteem. Makes us think we could have won yesterday while we go play hopscotch and tetherball.

I want my ribbon of participation dammit.

I hope we do go to a bowl. Even though we are in a tough
spot right now. I still love watching the players I cheer for
week in and week out. So another game that I can watch
Notre Dame football is something I really look forward to.
I don't care who is coaching. I just love watching the Blue and Gold.

The poodle called, he is awaiting his hourly ball sucking.

Three straight hours of non-stop ball sucking by the officiating crew wasn't enough?

Not that we would have won anyway but.....

1. Harrison Smith did strip that ball before he was out of bounds.
2. That flag they threw, near the sidelines, for a block in the back was, in fact a block in the back. Even Pete Carroll was making the guy watch the scoreboard because he knew it was a penalty and he was pissed.

Great job tonight officials.

The officials did suck, but they didn't make a 5 TD difference. I will watch a bowl game, if we make one, but hopefully with a new coach.
