O put a sock it in. You are on of them to. Stop lowering the standards. I expect everyone including the coach to believe that they are going to win a championshiop. If that's not why you play or coach then why the hell are on the field? Exspecially for ND.

Every program is cheating one way or another, That's life! Wish it wasent like that but there will always be the people trying to get the edge.

I agree with you that ND is special b/c of there high standards to get in but that should not be used as a lame asss excuse.

I am happy with 11-1 or even 10-2 but I EXPECT to win a championship. THIS IS NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL! The expectations should be a championship every year.

I like the yelling don't get me wrong but I would rather see more disapline. 5 turnovers, Yelling is not going to help a fumble or INT, Better coaching will!

If you have to coach a college athlete on the basic fundamentals of football then maybe they shouldn't be on the field.
All the coaching in the world won't help if they won't perform the fundamentals.

We had this game? When? Did you even watch it?

So many mistakes. Looked like a High school team that was not even that good!

ND needs LOT's of work and Kelly needs to stop yelling and start teaching disapline. Does not mean I am going to pat them on the back and say it's ok, Get them next time.

IT's NOT OK! This is ND football we should be 12-0 every year with a champoinship. If that's not how you think then you don't neeed to be a fan. Stop lowering the standards at Notre Dame!

Haha. 12-0 each year? Sure there are high expectations but any rational fan knows that when you go into a season you should expect at least one loss, no matter how good your team is. It is that hard to go undefeated. It takes a lot of luck for it to work out perfectly.

And Yes, I watched the same game as you. I saw a team that ran at will. They got open, and when they caught the ball (the drops were a complete rarity last year), they drove right down the field, and all this happened against a defense that everyone thought was going to be pretty damn good.

The defense despite the terrible special teams plays and turnovers never broke.

Despite 5 turnovers we were mere inches away from an onside kick that would have put us in a position to send it to OT. We were the better team in every area except turnovers and penalties. How many times in our history have we had 5 turnovers and not been blown out? Rare. We were so dominant we handed the game to USF and they could barely get the job done. 5 turnovers rare happens period for any team including a bad one, and wont happen again all season. We will continue to move the ball and force stops, and eventually if we continue that, we will win a lot of games.

the BCS is still possible, but hey its easy to be a fan isnt it? Point out the problems and complain how terrible the game was. But I'll tell you this, I'll take a team who can dominate the line of scrimmage on both offense and defense. I'll take a team who will drive at will on another team. I'll take a team who beats themselves and needs to learn how to win over a team that is smoke and mirrors everytime.

This team is close and if you cant see that, you dont know football.

Well if people want to be bitter about the past, and think that doom and gloom is all will come to this program, why even care?

This team has been dominant this game, except for the Redzone. How can you let 5 plays say doom for the whole season? I dont think you can. Sure they were 5 big plays, but 5 outta how many snaps is a good percentage. And this always average, this isnt going to happen every week.

When we beat Michigan next week, I wonder what everyone is going to say then.....

I know what I'll be saying "how the heck did we do that!?!"

Say what you want, but it's all about the win collum, forget how good we looked (or didn't) a win is a win, and we lost.

One team came to play yesterday, and they weren't wearing Blue and Gold, USF should be applauded for how they managed the game.

Stats are for losers!!!

Go Irish!!!
