OC Randy Sander has resigned. Phil Fulmer will be calling plays this week against the Irish. It's on the TENN boards as well. I think we will stomp UT on Sat. Cant wait!

I'd actually prefer the status quo from Tennessee. Fulmer is a respected coach. I'd rather have their version of "Bill Dietrich" calling the offense.

There is blood in the water.

Notre Dame had better come out and put these guys away fast.

I would hope ND's run D is better than that of South Carolina. Arian Foster ran all over them.

I think UT will be demoralized after the loss to SoCar, so if we get any kind of lead on them early...watch out

My God, these guys could not feel any lower. My father has a few associates located in Knoxville (they actually hooked us up with Tix for the game this week) and to listen to them talk, you would think that they don't have any business even showing up this weekend. I just hope that ND doesn't take this attitude and comes out ready to play. On paper, it looks like we will destroy these guys, but USC was supposed to hand us our a$$es too. NO LET UP, GO IRISH, BEAT VOLS!!!!

This team did beat LSU, so they have talent. But after a bad loss to Spurrier and thier OC gone and Riggs Jr. out for the year...eeek! Doesn't look good, but they have talent, especially their defense.

Heard through the grapevine that Cutcliffe will be signed on as OC for UTenn shortly, and for sure immediately after the season. Doctors have cleared him as ready to go. Cutcliffe already has a history with UTenn and is building a new home there. Makes sense to me.

Wow -- that would put a pulse back into the Tenn offense......however, with or without Cutliffe we can not overlook this game. They have just too much talent and everyone always plays their best in South Bend.

A wounded animal is the most dangerous. I'm surely Weis will have them well prepared because if they're not this game has 'TRAP' written all over it.

I still believe Tennessee is better than 3-4. They have the talent, but they lack coaching and confidence. Sound familiar? It should... I seem to recall a certain game last year where a team that had talent but lacked coaching and confidence travelled to the home of a national powerhouse and pulled off a miraculous win. That game? Notre Dame at Tennessee.

We'd better be ready for this one, but I believe we will be.

ND needs to come out and step on their throats right away.

If Minter's 11 can take Arian Foster out of the equation early and (am I really about to say this?) force the pass, ND will be in good shape. I don't see Clausen or Ainge beating ND throwing the ball. LSU was a long time ago. These guys have slipped up tremendously since then.

Get it over early.

This Tennessee team is dangerous and they've got their backs up against the wall. You don't think that they are going to play their hearts out on national TV against the resurgent Irish, in the wake of the dismissal of their OC. Their defense is rock solid and the offense is due for a good game. Beating ND would make their season at this point. This is going to be a battle from start to finish.
