While this board is for expressing opinions, please be mindful that this is a public forum and that non-registered guests can read every post. For you new folks, former players, parents of recruits and recruits themselves have come here expressing concern over critical posts of recruits in the recruiting and football forums.
And it's not just here. The quote below was posted in an Alex Bullard thread on a Tennessee football board today, after the fans there started bad mouthing the coach for not being able to keep TN recruits in state. They also started downgrading Bullard as just a so-so recruit after he announced to ND.
So, please be mindful when you post something about the 17-21 year old recruits or players. Posts about recruits/players should never attack the person. While the coaching staff is a bit different, remember that overly negative posts can still have an impact.
That doesn't mean you have to say positive things all the time, but if you're going to post something negative, it should not be personal and should be backed up with good reasons.
Give our recruits and players reasons to come to ND.
Thanks.

Maybe... just maybe... it is time for you and folks like you that come onto boards like this to consider what YOU are doing in situations like this.
Maybe you guys need to be congratulating yourselves?
The kid said early on that he liked Fulmer alot. I've also read that he DID visit these type boards.
It doesn't really take a math genius to add 1+1+1. The kid likes Fulmer. He reads John Adams and other reporters calling for Fulmer's head. He reads the negativism expressed on these boards about Fulmer and the program. Other coaches use all those things plus the positives of their own program...
Of course you guys will NEVER acknowledge that what you all post on publicly and ad nauseum on these boards has an effect on any recruit...
