First Time Tailgater!!

I'm taking padre to his first ND game since that penn state snow bowl. I searched the threads and couldn't find any topical posts. I was wondering if any of my IE brethren could give me advice/links on locations/times to get there and cost.....also heard charcoal is banned??? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

first off--have a BLAST!! one of my favorite thing is breaking into a bloody mary with my dad on gameday.

i would offer, if you have a handicap tag (maybe your dad doesnt get around as easy) use the lot D handicap lots. northside of campus. $25.00. and shuttle service to the back side of the JACC and the lot.

if weather is nice, the golf course parking is cool. and the white lot.

for a 330 pm game--id aim to be around campus by 9 at the latest. gives you enough time to get set up, have a couple, take a walk or maybe hit the southside parking lots and join any other tailgates.

yes--no charcoal. propane is ok. 100% wet campus--except inside university buildings.
