Finally I was able to get the ND press conference to load for post signing day! One thing that has stood out to me is the "RKG" thing. I know it is getting over used and what not but actually, if you really break it down from the recruiting stand point I can see what the meaning behind it really is. If course every coach thinks and says they have the best person on and off the field but our guys show it.

Golson - Said he did not deserve the POY in his state because of injury. Great that he can respect the hard work of others. Without injury he will fight to be the best because he has shown he will respect his competition.

Tuitt - Gave the respect to ND coaches to sit in his home with him and get down to the nitty gritty. He showed that he respects those that care. Even though he felt his heart was with another team, he didn't bail on ND because we showed the respect for our love for him.

Lynch - WOW! He really went through hell and back I feel. With everything from his GPA, mama Lynch, FSU, etc. Kid was able to stop all emotions from outside in and settle down. He showed that when the tough gets going ... it ultimately falls on his shoulders to be what he wants to be! Tag that with his excitement to compete. Once again...WOW!

Ishaq - Been through a lot. Never let things get to his head. If true, he decided not to commit at the AAAG because he still had doubts. To me that shines great things about a kids attitude.

Councell - Let ND coaches know he was going to look at other schools. Always stayed honest, calm and straight forward. Even after his big All Star game you never saw him get a big head. Puts it all out there time and time again.

Brindza - I know Hayes is no longer our recruit but Brindza was there. Not only did he commit but he has backed ND as a whole! Great kid ready to work. HARD! Also looks good. LOL

Hanratty - Wish I could find the film but he was interviewed and all he kept saying was how he wanted to do any and everything he could to bring his teammates along. On and off the field he wanted a successful team. That should be enough said. Cannot wait to see him develop.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST....

Floyd - No he is not part of the 2011 class but he is huge. The coaches took time from recruits to go meet with him and talk. He stood by his promise with mom and came back to graduate. As far as his on the field detail, the MAN is back to prove he is the best WR in DIV 1 football. That must be very very scary for other teams. He has continued to dominate under 2 on 1 coverage. Now what do you do as an opposing team?

I am very excited for this class and I just feel that every single one of these kids, to have BK in your living room wanting you bad, shows something in the off the field character. With the likes of Te'o and Nix on the team to take you under your wing. Even Crist. Nix and Crist in my mind have battled tough times with Nix having troubles from the get go and ending with the respect from the veteran players is great! Crist ... well we all know his struggles. Here is to the 2011-2012 season!

CHEERS!

Also want to just mention BK stands for what he expects. Him talking about early signing period and worrying more about the young athlete and not his coaches. Also, the throwback of when he came here and committed to the shaping your body to better your ability. He looks great and showed he is right in line with each and every player on ND roster.
