I am furious with whoever wrote this article on the football recruiting homepage for Rivals.

In 2006, Filer had 87 tackles and eight sacks in 14 games. His play has been enough to earn him scholarship offers from national powers like Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin and countless others.

You have got to be shitting me with this. Since when are Illinois and Purdue NATIONAL POWERS? I guess if you win 2 games in two years and normally hold recruiting battles with ND you are considered a national power. The more I read on Scout and Rivals the more nautious I get.

I've been increasingly pissed off at the articles Rivals puts out. One day there's an article about Clausen's elbow that rambles on about nothing, then they put out articles about guys that are never going to see an offer. Just because they're available for comment doesn't mean that you should make a write up about them. Also, an article about green jerseys? Who cares about that crap? Green jerseys should be a surprise anyway. Ok ok, I'm finished ranting.
