When is he telling us if he is going or staying? I hope he stays.

Vince, I think I'll just stop posting on this topic and just Ditto you. This says it all. ThanksVince Young said:Good question, and I'm not sure of the answer. Certainly something to be considered.
However, I'm also not sure if you're looking at the whole picture. If he stays at Notre Dame for one more year, that's one more year of playing without getting paid for it. However much he's entitled to for getting drafted in a later round, it's still more than zero.
There's also the assumption that he'll be the #1 TE in next year's draft if he stays at Notre Dame. But what if he keeps fumbling? What if the offense next year focuses more on passing to our new hotshots Grimes and Hord and less on passing to him? What if a bunch of 3rd-year TE studs all declare for next year's draft? What if he gets injured? Fasano's draft stock for next year's draft could very easily turn out to be the same as this year: a mid-round pick. There's no guarantee at all that his stock will rise.
Getting a diploma is the only reason I can see for a football player to put their body at risk without getting paid. Fasano will have his at the end of the year. I'd love it if he stayed, but he needs to go.
