In the preview section, they note that both Jordan Prestwood and Bubba Starling have the physical tools to make major jumps in the rankings:

Those are past examples of players who weren't as polished in high school but had high upside that just needed to develop. This year's class has a few of those kinds of players as well. A few examples:

• QB Bubba Starling (Gardner, Kan./Gardner Edgerton), No. 107, is a 6-5 prospect with a monster arm (90 mph fastball), but plays in a run-oriented offense that utilizes him like Tim Tebow. He is raw right now in terms of mechanics, but has all the tools to groom.

• OT Jordan Prestwood (Plant City, Fla./Plant City), No. 129, is a 6-6, 265-pound TE who is athletic and could develop into a great college tackle with patience and time.

That would be sweet if the Irish could land Savon Huggins, #4 RB listed.

It's pretty awesome that right off the bat Kelly is making a recruiting impact. The primary schools on that list which have commits are Florida LSU Oklahoma USC Texas.... and its great to see ND on there too. Also i know its still early but it makes me happier than a fly on a turd wagon that scUM doesnt have one kid committed on that list. That just makes me smile.

GO IRISH!

ISD's perspective:

Notre Dame Football - Irish Commits, Targets Represented in ESPN 150

In addition, there are a number of Notre Dame targets that did not make the ESPN 150, but earned four-star rankings with Wednesday’s release of the list.

These include Rob Hankins (Dallas, Texas/Parish Episcopal), Patrick Martin (Greensville, S.C./J.L. Mann), Nick Vannett (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville Central), Blake Countess (Baltimore, Md./Good Counsel) and Hakeem Flowers (Greensville, S.C./Wade Hampton), each of whom received an 80 Scouts Grade.

Additionally, players receiving a four-star ranking and a 79 Scouts Grade include Clay Burton (Venice, Fla./Venice), Christion Jones (Adamsville, Ala./Minor), Marquise Williams (Charlotte, N.C./Mallard Creek), Ray Hamilton (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville), Justice Hayes (Grand Blanc, Mich./Grand Blanc) and Christian French (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/John F. Kennedy).
