I always think the game is down the middle. Haden is balanced and if you recall he advocated the 1 second getting put back up, called the SC personal fouls "dumb" - he didnt say they were questionable or anything. I think some of you hear what you want to hear.

I think Hayden does a pretty good job, honestly. What's he supposed to talk about? A freshman QB putting up those numbers is a story no matter what. He has to talk about it. He talks up ND too. He talked up AA, Golden, Jimmy, and a number of other guys.

This thread is hilarious. USC peeps are complaining about Hayden also but not cause he was pro USC, but because he sounded like a ND homer to us.

Point of view is everything.
I mentioned weeks back that he seems to genuinely like Notre Dame and I asked if both schools recruited him and maybe he picked SC but wealked away impressed with ND?
Seriously for a SC graduate he isnt critical of ND unless it warrants, so many announcers have an agenda these days, I think his professionalism is nice. The man is a Rhodes scholar, he is incredibly smart and he applies it to being a good analyst with an even approach.
