I find it somewhat concerning that all of the offers going out are to Ohio kids. Nothing against Hardy. But is the plan not to recruit nationally?

Have you seen the talent that Ohio's churned out nowadays? Plus it is Kelly's wheelhouse for recruiting. Let the man work. He'll still recruit nationally... but if we can win Ohio... watch out.

Would you rather he recruited Rhode Island or Vermont???? Ohio is great lot of land to start out with....Let the man work.

What about Pa. great football state?

JoePa is like... Jesus up there. He says to a recruit that "I'll give you tapoica pudding for life!", they say "Sign me up you old geezer."

An aside:

Who is more likely to die on the sideline from visions from God? JoePa from old age? Or Urban Liar? Hell, he drempt it and then texted it.

I have to disagree somewhat with you here Wabash. Joe Pa does land some pretty good talent from this state but it only started happening this past year. He pulled in some good lineman from Western PA but most are not in the top 15 in there position (except for Paul Jones). He gets a lot from PA but also invades alot of the bordering states (NY, NJ, MD, some in VA...). The top tier talent that comes from PA (such as D. Walls, Proyer, Dorian Bell, Corey Brown, Shariff Floyd, even Lesean McCoy was committed to Miami out of high school, etc....) really head out of state mostly to OSU. Honestly, its really been Tressel who has been god lately in the state of PA. ND has to get back in the thick of things in PA because Powlus did not recruit the state well when Weis was there. There is good talent in PA but most of it is from the Western part of the state.
