This clip is truly insane. Heavy "some guys I know" energy.
I wonder what Finebaum's reaction would've been to the following: Let's imagine that the most powerful member of the committee is an active Big 10 Athletic Director, let's say the Iowa Athletic Director. In the Conference Championship Game, Indiana is undefeated and Ohio State is 10-2, and ranked #9 in the CFP Rankings. Alabama is still 10-2, ranked #10, but they're not in the SEC Championship Game. Florida State didn't crap the bed, is 10-2 with the H2H over Alabama, but is #12 in the CFP Ranking and is not in the ACC Championship Game. Indiana beats Ohio State 28-7, giving Ohio State their 3rd loss. The Iowa Athletic Director tells the committee to protect the Big Ten and keep Ohio State at #9, drops every other Conference Championship Game loser, and he makes the committee re-watch the FSU/Bama Week 1 game again. When the dust settles, Ohio State stays at #9, FSU gets the #10 seed, and Alabama is out. What would Finebaum's reaction be? I guarantee that he would be complaining about the Committee being in bed with the Big 10 and how the committee lied about Alabama being better than Florida State, despite the H2H.

Simple version. An SEC team starts 0-2 and then delivers ten crushing victory. Imagine the PC keeps then out because they are ranked near one of the teams that beat them early.
