It's a little extreme but I guess if the guy has been affiliated with the school that long and has built the program into what it is today, I'm sure that he felt like he should get some say so in who takes over his spot. I understand this a little because my Father-in-Law had been the High School Basketball Head Coach for 30+ years and I know that he would not have just turned the program over to someone he did not think was right for the job.

I think he got lied to by the AD so he is trying to get him fired at any cost. Once the AD is canned then he will help the program out again. I guess you should not mess with mean old men.
