I'm not sure dude. I think I heard that he got injured and they redshirted him. But I'm not sure about that and dont take my answer seriously. That's just what I heard.

Yea, he was injured at some point in the preseason and was held out for the year.

it seems as though in the beginning i rememeber hearing about a weight issure but i bet a while with mr.mendoza will fix that right up. I also do rememeber that injury you speak of hopefully he will be ready to make a contribution next year.

Hand had gotten his weight down. And word was he was looking good in workouts. The injury sidelined him for the year or he would have played. He should help next year. He darn well may start.

Well thats great to hear scoop as much trouble as people think we are in they tend to forget what we already have and began to look at it numberwise. Although i believe no doubt we need 2-3 quality DT's but with laws coming back possibly the interior line could be solid next year.

he was on crutches earlier in the week, or maybe it was last week. He's been limping around pretty much all year. and of course, Justin Brown's been in the same situation the last few weeks. He can hardly walk.

When did Justin Brown get injured? He seemed to be very capable on the field, I hope he'll be OK.

Justin injured his leg and didn't play in the Army or USC games. IIRC, Weis didn't seem to be concerned about it during one of his pressers (unless I'm confusing his comments about Carlson with Brown!). I don't know the severity though, and don't know if he'll be available for the bowl game. Anyone?

What kind of injury did he suffer? Assuming some sort of leg/foot/ankle injury since someone said he was on crutches, although I am curious as to how serious it was.

I have no clue how serious it is. All I know is that he's been limping very badly all around campus the last few weeks. I just thought it was odd that they didn't give him a cart as he could barely walk. It was painful to watch him walk. But maybe since he didn't have a cart, they wanted him to use it, so maybe that means it isn't so serious. and I don't think Brown was on crutches. I know Hand was just either this past week or the week before.

All this just from my very unprofessional observations.
