I agree. You dont trade to get an earlier pick and then grab Tebow unless you have something planned. They just grabbed Brady like what a month ago? The Bronc Hos have some trick up their sleeve

Chris Berman is an idiot. Why would it not make sense for Minnesota to draft a QB? Favre has 1 year left. It makes perfect sense to draft a protege. Berman's IS EXTREMELY short-sided if he thinks it would push Favre into retirement. Would have been a great fit for Clausen.

That they did not win the SB last year with all of the talent they had is a sin - and will be punished accordingly in the hereafter... As you can tell, I am sooo glad they didn't take Jimmy, even though that was the dumbest move in the world!

On serious note tho, i'm not suprised he is so calm, ive said all along i dont think $$ is a huge factor with him and family, more so getting the fit.

Sadly, that's what Chris Berman fears. Favre bolted from the Jets when they drafted Mark so he's playing it cautious. I think the Chiefs pick up Jimmy.

Well I don't think Clausen is going to be a good pro and I've maintained that all along. Please don't bother contradicting me on that one either because it's not worth arguing about--it's an opinion because we haven't seen him play in the NFL yet. My view of Clausen certainly hasn't won me friends and influence around here but that's life.

As far as my Broncos selecting Tebow...head scratcher of the decade (which is four months old). He's not going to be a good pro! WTF were they thinking!? Hey, I like Tebow the person but three years from now when he's out of football doing ministerial work (and I'm not knocking him--I like the fact that he's Christian and happy to be), people are going to look back on this and ask WTF McDaniels was doing.

I read on some redskins site that the Vikings are wry interested in haynesworth since there may still be a pending suspension for the Williams brothers. Maybe the skins trade haynesworth to the Vikings ing with a 7th rounder next year for the 33 pick and select Jimmy to backup mcnabb and learn for a couple years. Just a hopeful skins fan talking and I think maybe siting a year or two would benefit any young qb coming to the NFL. We will see in less than 12 hours.

As a Broncos fan and ND fan, I am pretty damn pissed at today. If we really wanted a quarterback then we had a golden opportunity to take Clausen who would have fit our system much better, but instead we take some dumbass who will never see a meaningful down at QB...WTF just happened????
