Defending the Option

I cringed when I read the title of this thread, and I saw TerryTates name attached too it.

I was assuming you were going to give some uneducated lame duck analysis of how to defend the option by "sending the house" or "killing the service academies" as many of the Envy's defensive experts have provided.
(I respect your input too much to see you go down in flames like that!)

Great article with some even better points.

Assignments, keep them simple. I know from experience!

Thanks for the good read, Terry. Article in the SBT last night said pretty much the same thing. We'll see if our defensive gurus are paying attention.

Kinda makes you wish they'd get rematched against Navy in a bowl. Have to wait till next year-it will be interesting to see what Army does against Navy as both games were so different. The line scheme was much better and it gave them a chance to run to the ball with leverage. Nice

I was thinking the same thing...would love to get Navy now....too funny.
