I'm a bit concerned by the attention we are giving to more receivers. Our current corps is one of the better groups on the team, and if we keep Nelson and Grimes with Hord, why would we need yet another receiver?
IMHO, this recruiting class needs more dbacks and linemen, if anything.

I don't know... I think the receivers were one of the mediocre groups on our team this season personally. After Shelton, we lacked anyone that could get significant YAC unless they had several lead blockers.Rip Rap said:

I agree - i wouldnt ever forgo a player...i know one guy who want to go to Illinois but Turner turned him down because of thing like Rip Rap said we have enough good QBs...it happens that guy was Stephen Lefors a Heisman Trophy candidate this year and led the nations most scoring offense...

Another tidbit to keep in mind... a lot of WRs in high school end up as CBs or playing on the other side of the football because they often don't have the hands to play WR at the next level. If a player has 4.4 speed with some good size, maybe you can bring him in and convince him to play CB.
I believe Charles Woodson was a WR in high school and Michigan converted him to DB.
