My wife and I do our own shirts for the kid for the season but when we make a few good ones, we like to send them to the family. So a few questions I would have would be...
1. Do you want them screen printed?
2. Are you providing the shirts to print on?
3. What would be a good price for you?
My wife is in marketing business and has great connections to some people who do side work. We have a guy doing us a free favor and I wouldn't mind trying to bring him some business for the favor. If you have a budget and are wanting to provide the shirts, I have no problem asking him what he would charge. He does screen printing at home. We do Iron-on cheap ish that doesn't last long. Daughter is only 11 months old so she grows out quickly. Like I said though, we go screen print for the good shirts to send to family. For us to get it free, he already had our colors and the wife made the design fit to print. Just let me know and I will ask what he would need to keep it cheap.
SIDE NOTE: I would charge 6 bottles of Jameson and an assortment of cigars for some screen printing work of this nature. I have yet to convince my wife that it is a good investment for side work. What am I doing wrong?
