Just watched this movie between shifts today. It was much, much better than I thought, and it brought back floods of memories. As someone who loves the game of football, as well as all sports, traumatic brain injuries brought on from repeated concussions and blows to the head are a serious issue and one that everyone, fans and non-fans alike, should love to see solved.

After watching the film that mentioned Dave Duerson and Junior Seau among several others, I felt the need to look back at threads for the two.

It seems absurd to me that looking back, there is little to know discussion on traumatic brain injuries in either thread. How ignorant we were of the potential long term effects prior to these instances.

In this thread, please feel free to discuss the movie, and all parts retaining to the plot including CTE and long term traumatic brain injury brought on by football. If you have not seen the film, I encourage you to watch it. It is at least worth that.
