Hmmmm. Interesting numbers. Looks like talent wise we should win, but coaching wise is a different story. Thanks for the numbers BGIF!

Haynesworth gives ND the Edge in all years except '06 which he calls even.

ND had a distinct advantage in '06 in Quantity and Quality (stars) and although NV (14) has lost more players than ND (10) Haynweworth notes NV will start 9 of the 12 from that class including their QB Colin Kaepernick with over 4000 yds of total offense and Vai Taua with over 1500 rushing. ND has 8 starters from this year.

ND has a distinct edge in talent throughout the team. NV has a couple of very, very productive players. ND has more threats on offense AND on defense.

Both schools have a similar number of freshman and sophomores (ND+2) but ND has a decided edge in upperclassman (ND+10) having 39 to NV's 29. ND had a total of 79 scholarship players from these recruiting classes. NV has only 67.

Keep in mind Anello was a walkon who picked up a scholarship. NV may have transfers and walkons as well that don't show up in these recruiting classes.
