Wow it took me forever to find this freaking thread. Anyways, what i wanted to post about is how much it bugs me that no coaches have came out within the past month and REALLY denied wanting/desiring/or being interested in the ND job.
Honestly..... Brian Kelly, when asked if he would be interested in the ND job, said, "I really like it in Cincinatti, why shouldnt it be considered a coaching hot spot"
My man Urban Meyer when asked said "I will stay at Florida as long as they will have me." hell he said it again today in the interviews.
Bob Stoops recently was quoted "My plan is to stay in Tulsa.".
The problem is, none of those are answers to the question asked. If they are really not interested, why wouldnt they say "No. I am not interested in coaching Notre Dame."
I know if i were a coach that was interested, i would want it to not affect my team at the time, so i cant argue with it. But as a fan who follows it so closely, it bugs the hell out of me.
Sorry, this post didnt provide any new info, because all the info is shit until Swarbrick flys out or coaches fly in. This is just me ranting about the process of it.
