DE Jadeveon Clowney, 6-5/225 South Pointe (Rock Hill, S.C.)
Next level: Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina and South Carolina are just some of the schools that have emerged at the top of Clowney’s list—and don’t be surprised if the Gamecocks come out on top in the end. Schools like FSU, LSU, Miami, Michigan, UCLA and Tennessee are still working on this defensive end, too.
DE Ray Drew, 6-5/235 Thomas County Central (Thomasville, Ga.)
Next level: According to Drew, none of the dozens of schools that have offered him have been eliminated yet. Alabama, Florida, FSU, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, OSU and USC are just a few that have offered.
DT Timmy Jernigan, 6-2/275 Columbia (Lake City, Fla.)
Next level: Florida and Florida State will battle down to the wire for this defensive tackle, but Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, USF and Tennessee are all making a push also.
DT Kevin McReynolds, 6-2/280 St. John's (Washington, D.C.)
Next level: Maryland, Pittsburgh and West Virginia are all close to home, but there is no guarantee he’ll stay close. Ohio State, USC, LSU and Auburn are just some of hte others that have offered.
LB Stephone Anthony, 6-3/220 Anson (Wadesboro, N.C.)
Next level: We'll let Stephone explain it: “If I stayed close to home, my No. 1 would be Clemson, then UNC and then probably the South Carolina Gamecocks, but there’s no guarantee I’m staying close to home,” Anthony told Sporting News. Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, UCLA and Virginia Tech are just some of the other schools to offer scholarships.
LB Brent Calloway, 6-1/210 Russellville (Ala.)
Next level: Committed to Alabama
LB Lawrence Thomas, 6-4/230 Renaissance (Detroit)
Next level: Committed to Michigan State
LB James Wilder Jr., 6-2/220 Plant (Tampa, Fla.)
Next level: Florida, Miami and USC are three of the leaders for this multi-dimensional star—who also has seen success at the running back position in high school. Alabama, Auburn, FSU, Georgia and Tennessee are some of the other schools chasing him.
DB Sheroid Evans, 6-0/175 Dulles (Sugar Land, Texas)
Next level: Committed to Texas
DB Doran Grant, 5-10/170 St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, Ohio)
Next level: Truly one of the most talented cornerbacks in this class, Grant is beginning to narrow things down a bit—but he admits the scholarship offers keep popping up in the mail, making it difficult to trim things down. “Ohio State and Michigan State are the top ones for me, but I’m still strongly considering a lot of other schools ...” Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Notre Dame and USC are some of the other schools in the mix.
DB Wayne Lyons, 6-0/190 Dillard (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.)
Next level: Lyons, who said he’s now over 40 scholarship offers, has been very busy this spring. Just name the school and it’s on his offer list—Alabama, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC, on and on.
