“The European style of play is very different, although I think it suited my game very well. Everything is more team-based. There isn’t a lot of individual, one-on-one play like there is in the NBA. It’s not as star-driven, either. There are a lot of guys in the rotation playing 18 to 20 minutes, and you don’t see guys putting up big stats. The games are spread out much more, and there’s a big emphasis on practice and putting in set plays.”
