then they would be undefeated and actually beat a good team. Playoffs would solve that. But IMO Georgia will slaughter them.

i know what you're saying 23. But the schools and conferences agreed on the format for determining the national champion. that's why there's no such thing as "split" national championship. it doesn't matter what the self-appointed experts in the AP or espn polls do. if you don't play in the national championship game, you have no argument.

now, i suppose they could be declared popular champion by being voted so in some poll.
