At the half Coppell is up on Euless Trinity 30-21. Cam has 8 carries for 27 yds and a TD. He also has a long kickoff return that set up a FG. These are undoubtedly two of the best teams in the country.

Trinity is supposed to be rediculous, right? Damn. To know Cam is rockin' and rollin' with the best is sweet.

37-35 Coppell: 9:14 left in the game. Coppell can't stop Trinity's run game. Trinity can't stop Coppell's pass game.

your killing me here, this reminds me of when I used to follow ND games on IrishEnvy while I was in Syria. The suspense is worse than when you can see on TV.

It's too bad they couldn't pull it out, but this would been a tough division to win with seven teams in the Rivals Top 100.

Tough loss for the Coppell Cowboys. McDaniel begged his coach to put him in at safety on that last play. He was confident they would be running the toss sweep & told his coach he would make the tackle. Unfortunately he was not in the game & they ran the toss sweep to the left & scored with no time left in the game. Most of Cam's runs were on short yardage situations & the Cowboys were able to convert on those plays. 8 possessions & 8 scores - 4TD's & 4 FG's. Coppell won the turn-over battle forcing 2 fumbles with no turn-overs themselves. Trinity never led in the game until they scored on the final play. Heart-breaking for McDaniel & the Cowboys, but now it's on to ND football!

Yeah tough break. I couldn't help but feel for those guys. I just wish they would have ran the ball 3 straight plays after they got 1st and goal at the 7 with 4 minutes left. They could have milked the clock and forced Trinity to pass on the final drive. Can't help but think the coach replayed the final Coppell drive over in his head all weekend.

Definitely poor clock management & play calling. The two runs they did call where in the A gap where the big boys from Trinity dominated the entire game. I would have liked to have seen something off-tackle, toss sweep or the QB (Minden) pull it & take it in like he did in the 3rd qtr. They were obviously loading up to stop McDaniel.

Coppell was snapping the ball with 12-16 seconds left on the play clock every down. Had they run it down, Trinity would have had more like 1:45.

Trinity beat Round Rock Stony Point this past weekend 28-24 & now plays for the Div-1 5A state championship against Pearland - 12/18 @ 8pm on Fox Sports Southwest.

Denton Guyer who is a smaller school in Coppell's district plays in the Div-2 5A state championship against Cibolo Steele (Malcolm Brown - top RB in nation) - 12/18 @ 4pm on Fox Sports Southwest.

Not sure where you got that little bit of info but pretty sure Mcdaniel would not have made the tackle. Trinity had been running the ball well all night. I've watched Coppell for many years and the last two years Coppell's defense has been outstanding. Okotcha and the other DB's played pretty well and Okotcha ran down Brandon Carter (OU Recruit) who probably is the best offensive player in Texas this year. Honestly, Cam struggled running the ball against Trinity especailly in the redzone.
