DJ brown is my first, second, and third least favorite starter.
Same. He tackles everyone like he’s a DT. I’ve never seen him go low for a tackle below the waist. He runs around like his hair is on fire which is fine until he misses a fit like in the long TD run by Mafah.
It's a big frichan deal to be a butkus semi finalist whether I think he deserves it or not.
The dropped INT vs OSU should have put him in first for me too.....But watching ML run around like a chicken with his head cut off just absorbing blocks.....making it always look like we have 10 on D.....Keeps him #1 for me. Brown 2 for sure.
Browns response to OSU was his play vs louisville where he missed both tackles on both longer td runs, then against clemson, he was the missed tackled on Mafah's long td run. Marist should have covered him up for an 8-10 yard gain, but he messed up too. DJ had him dead to writes if he knew what he was doing. I hate having a good memory, brown did the same thing vs FSU in 2021 on a blitz, blitzed, over ran it, easy td for travis.

He had a nice pick vs NCSt but game was essentially over. I will credit him for the SC game. That’s the one game where the entire team seemed to actually tackle on a consistent basis. That being said, he’s really bad for a sixth year guy.
Brown had the bigger mistake on the long clemson td run and watts had the bigger mistake on the henderson OSU long td run, but Marist was terrible reading both runs, and could have stopped them.
