Wow, has anyone watched some of the practice reports? This kid is very impressive. I have seen him play a lot in high school and always knew he would be good in college. It just seems like he has something to prove and is out to do it this year. It is exciting to know that there's people pushing for playing time on the O-line. Let's just hope they all can execute when on the field.

On a road trip to Allegheny College to play the Gators my Jr. year, one of my coaches was watching some tape of a Penn guard that played next to Cave. The one play I will remember from the tape occured when Cave picked up a nose tackle, threw him to the ground, and then tore off the kid's hat. He looked like an angry bear trying to get to a bowl full o' honey.

It was awesome. Plus, Evan Sobecki, former Penn RB, had nothing but fantastic things to say about his former Center.

He'll be good. Had the pleasure of watching him play a few times. Plays with an attitude and the kid is as strong as an ox. He will def take over the reigns when Wenger is gone.

He went to my rival high school and im very fimiliar with him. Hes going to be good but the talent he played against in this area isnt great. His high school has won over 100 straight conference games. The area is very weak. Not being a downer just being real

so you are a cavemen... Sorry to hear that. Penn once was a power house and still could be. I think they have been lacking in coaching lately.

Just recently they have been getting stomped. In the mid 90's - 2000 we were a lot better. Penn always plays Ben Davis early in the year. It use to be that Ben Davis would beat us early in the year and we would get them in the playoffs.

I would have to agree with you that Penn has not been a powerhouse the past 8 years. It really stinks seeing them slide down in talent but I really think it has to do with Coaching. Don't get me wrong, I think Corry Yoamen (Spelling?) is an ok coach. Out of almost 3000 students, you would think you could find enough that can actually play football and compete with the schools in Indy. Hell Mishawaka almost beat Penn a couple years ago (or was it last year, I can't remember). The refs had called an incomplete pass that could have easily been a touchdown.

Anyways did you graduate with anyone with the last name Goeller?
