i will puke all over my living room if they do that. then i might even turn off the game. our colors are blue and gold. there is no need for another jersey. we are not like oregon, we don't need the nike cash to keep the program going.

Leave the black at home and let the Seniors go out in the traditional blue.

yea i like the white with green letters and gold trim sharp really sharp specialy the way the unis are done now back in the day they were loose and didnt fit very well they have obvioulsy got a taylor.

And after Notre Dame takes the field against Army decked out in blue, the rumor will change again, probably that we'll wear black for the bowl game, or for the Blue & Gold Game, or next year's home opener.

Black jerseys? Not happening. Period.

Green jerseys, on the other hand...

After the UM game I went outside the box and only started wearing ND gear on off days, but it has to be everyday at some point. No ND gear on Gameday. So far, so good.

I went to the game sans jersey for the first time....didn't help that it was 40 degrees and I wasn't about to not wear a heavy coat just to be seen in a jersey. The coat however was an ND parka (and I did have a ND hoodie, purchased in the bookstore on Friday, underneath)

The away team has to wear white, unless the home team does (ex LSU). The away team would lose one time out per half that they don't wear the appropiate uniform. We discussed this last year when people wanted green/red jerseys for the ND/OSU game.
