Since there have been a couple people posting things saying how negative some posts are...let's get POSITIVE. Open the discussion on the best plays that ND made last night. My vote...Ndukwe's hit on Calvin Johnson. Big time play to punch GT in the mouth and let them know we're here to fight too!

Shout out your best ND plays of last night and tell what you liked.

Brady Quinn's first little outside slant pass on the 2nd-quarter scoring drive. I'd already seen that route work a couple of times earlier in the game, but seeing Charlie call that to get the drive started, I just had a feeling he was going to be calling a lot of those on the drive, just to get Quinn some completions, build up some confidence and move the damn football.

Wasn't much of a play in-and-of-itself, but it set the tone for that whole drive, and that drive set the tone for the rest of the game. That was pivotal, right there. That's where it all changed.

I loved the hit Johnson. Showed our backs can run with the big boys.

the opening kick return, tell me you didn't jump out of your seat and yell " take it to the house, omg" while your girlfriend gave you that "your a psycho stare". So glad she left after the first quarter.

Yes, sir. I caught myself yelling "Take It to the House" a couple of times. Two kickoff returns and Tommy's punt return that got called back.

How bout the concentration of Carlson to catch the ball that bounced off him which looked like it might turn into an INT? Pretty key play!

Oh my, I got that look more than a few times last night. I just rolled with it, and even had some fun with it. At one point, she shot me that look yet again after a big play, and I couldn't help myself: I looked her square in the eye, pointed to the tiny little interlocking ND on the front of my jersey a-la Jeff Samardzdkjhga against USC last year and intently whispered "We are ND" with a smart-ass grin plastered on my face.

She left the room and didn't come back for 5 minutes. :)

That's outstanding...however, I have to say that I value my "time" with my girlfriend and she holds the "key" so I wouldn't want to upset her too much. Even though she wasn't present last night, I try to reign in the jumping around I do. However, TDs are another matter. I go nuts when ND scores and a high-five for everyone in the room is a right that no one will ever take from me...including my girl (just don't tell HER that).

Yes, this was one of those...oh come on, catch it....NO, don't YOU catch it...yes, he caught it plays. Good concentration, but give my future heart-attack some rest and catch it the first time...haha. Good play.

Have no fear; we're cool. She's just not into sports at all, and I was amazed she sat through almost the entire game with me. I just couldn't resist that extra tweak that one time. She was happy for me at the end of the game; that's what counts for me. :)

I've turned my wife into a big ND fan (and football in general).....though she still doesn't understand why I pace before and during games...or worse, why I lunge at the screen and punch the air on a big play.

Excellent...that's all that matters...that your girl gets a small glimpse of that crazy person that lies deep down inside only to rear its horned-head a few hours a week and then comes back to normal after a win.

That reassures her just enough that you have that "protect her like a piece of meat" quality inside of you...even if you have to display it on Saturdays....haha. She's probabaly envisioning what you might do if someone insulted her in public...if he goes that nuts over football, well then....for me?

Pacing the sidelines huh, old Lou Holtz? Making grass clippings of the sideline too? Haha...love it!! I can see you hopping off the couch and pumping the fists like a leprechaun.
