At this point, it feels like a battle fueled by pride—but with extraordinary effort, I believe we could actually pull it off.

We will have a higher blue chip ratio.
They have 30 commits, & 19 or 20 are blue chip, so 67%.
We are at 82% and that’s only because we chose to take Thom, or it would be at 86%.

USC will end with 35-40 kids, but only about 22-23 blue chip.
ND will end with 27 and have 23 blue chip.

The sites will only take the top 20 or so.
ND could end with three or four 5 Stars, and another two or three high 4 Stars, & the rest solid 4 Stars. That could put us ahead of USC in the final rankings or close.
But ND’s class is WAY more balanced.
And ND’s class will have way more kids stick around.
And ND’s class meets needs.
USC just takes kids without meeting needs or knowing how they will pay them moving forward.

ND literally recruited a starting Defense.
(4-2-5 is ND’s base defense now).

I would say much like every other aspect of the program, MF has learned quickly how to manage the role from a HC standpoint and is really dialing things in now. The plan, the execution, and the results are very deliberate.

Absolutely. FUSC.

These kids won't help them this year and Riley can't take another bad year. TAMU is the perfect comparable... Their one great recruiting year did nothing for Jimbo Fisher or the program in general.
