B. Smith & Lambert?

Did Brian Smith start the game? I know I saw him in street clothes in the 2nd half. Any idea what was up? Was Lambert just benched in favor of Blanton?

This win was very costly if Brian Smith and Michael Floyd are out for a while. Duval Kamara is nowhere near the player that Michael Floyd is and we have nobody who plays with the speed and enthusiasm as Brian Smith. Lambert's injury may be a blessing in disguise...sorry to say. I called for Blanton to get more PT earlier this week and I guess I got my wish. Blanton made some great plays today!

Got his knee banged, on a running play. The play came right at him, while he was blocking on the outside. The ballcarrier and a couple of tacklers ended up whacking him on the knee. It didn't look all that bad, but sometimes major injuries don't. Hopefully it is something that a couple of days of rest will fix right up!

Lambert got hurt thursday in practice and was on crutches Saturday. hopefully he'll be back for his last home game.

now it sounds like Terrail might not get to play in his last home game... really tough break for him. but hopefully he is better for the USC game and the bowl game.
