ATL announcer, Skip Caray, died.

He was great. Such a homer for the Braves. Joe Nuxhull, now Skip.

He was pretty funny, very sarcastic.Once in the 80s, when the Braves were terrible, he said as at the start of the game against the Pirates "And, like lambs to the slaughter, the Braves take the field".

Really... that surprises me, i didnt think he was that old or anything. That's sad though.

He was 68 and died in his sleep.

I will never forget him screaming when Sid Bream limped home and the Braves won the 1992 NL pennant "BRAVES WIN! BRAVES WIN! BRAVES WIN!" What a great night that was and his voice hollaring that is what I think of.

I was at that game...Skip will be missed. I do remeber when Harry, Skip and Chip did a Cub's game.

our whole cul-de-sac was piled in one neighbor's house watching the game. after they won, you could here people screaming all over the neighborhood.

I must've been thinking of chip when i was surprised. I do remember him watching him on TBS with the braves games. My neighbor moved up near me from tennessee and he loved them and i would say he rubbed off on me a little big.
