With the utmost respect I ask why you closed my thread on us currently being the worst div 1a team? It was not mean spirited and I was simply posing a terrible but appropriate question in my opinion. I am obviously a die hard fan and am not trolling. With our current injury status I think a real argument can me made that there are few if any D1 teams that are currently much worse than us.

I appreciate your attempts to maintain the board and know that I can post some emotional things at times, but this was not one of them. I also know that many board members thought that the post was bad or crazy or whatever but really is that a reason to shut it down be cause of dissenting opinion?

I closed it. And it wasn't you, it was a couple of posters/trolls afterwards.

But since you brought it up, I will ask you this, again: How can we be even close to the worst when there are what, 120 teams and we have 4 wins and 3 incredibly close losses??? Are rankings aren't close to being the worst team in the nation. If we were ranked like 110, then yes, you have an argument. But when you are 4-5 and ranked somewhere in the 50's or 60's or 70's, then no, you are not the worst team in the nation nor close to it. That's hyperbole and an overreaction to a bad year. You might not think you're being emotional, but you are certainly being irrational, because the facts clearly do not support your argument, and it's really not even close.

Seriously, how much college football do you watch? Have you seen New Mexico play> UNLV? San Jose St? Washington St? Memphis? Minnesota? Middle Tennesee? Rice? North Texas? I mean, I can go on and on and on and on. We're not very good, but we're not even close to the worst.

So, yeah, that's why it was closed.
